Customer Insights

What People Say

Most Liked

The pho at PHO LONG is undeniably the standout dish—rich, aromatic broth with options ranging from brisket to rice noodles. Customers rave about the generous portions, making it a fantastic value for the price.

Shrimp puffs have garnered a fanbase of their own; they’re crispy, full of flavor, and simply addictive. Pair these with a refreshing smoothie crafted from real fruit, and the meal becomes a highlight of the day. Many customers appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, where the individual touch of the owners shines through, making visits feel personal.

Family-friendly seating and excellent takeout options add to its appeal, allowing locals to enjoy their meals at nearby parks, like Uvalde Memorial Park, making it a cozy part of the community.

Most Disliked

While PHO LONG shines in many areas, there are a couple of points customers have noted. The 'to-go only' service can be inconvenient for those who prefer dining in, even though nearby parks provide a pleasant alternative.

During peak hours, waiting times may stretch longer, especially when the restaurant faces high demand. Additionally, the lack of extensive indoor seating limits larger groups, though the cozy setup does foster a warm atmosphere. Customers have also expressed a desire for more menu variability, especially in side dishes, as they love the main offerings. Overall, these concerns haven’t deterred patrons from returning, as the food quality consistently shines.

It’s a true mom-and-pop restaurant. I guess for now, it’s only take-away service. The son took our order, grandpa kept a watchful eye on his grandson, and grandma delivered our food with the sweetest smile. The food is incredibly flavorful and authentic—clearly made with love. Great portions for the price, and the iced coffee was the perfect refreshing touch. Highly recommend for both the taste and the heartwarming experience. We found a perfect spot nearby at the Uvalde Memorial Park to eat our lunch.

Must try if you’re in town, great pho, shrimp puffs was very good, had not had anything similar to that, and great ban mi. Must try their smoothie, all made with real fruit/avocado, popping boba so good and fun. To-go only, but there’s park near by you can eat at. We came back for another round of boba and smoothie after lunch at nearby park on the same day. And can’t beat the price!

Food is always fresh and hot and plates serving always enough. We also had delicious smoothies only you must wait in your car but thats ok. NEVER HAD ORDER PROBLEMS WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK.

To Go only, unfortunately. But don’t allow that to put a damper on your meal, they have the most amazing pho. I like to add steamed vegetables. You can add shrimp or whatever you’d like. I love the honeydew tea and smoothie. The meals are delicious as well.

I’m a third generation Vietnamese man and I grew up on my grandma’s delicious Pho and food. I’ve been to Vietnam and I live in Houston where there’s a Pho place on every other corner and I’ve had the best of the best. When I searched good food in Uvalde, Pho Long came up and I was so surprised! I’ve been coming here for 20+ years and it makes me so happy to find my culture in one place. It was absolutely delicious, the broth was clear and flavorful, the ingredients were fresh, and the staff were so generous and polite. I asked for extra rice noodles and it’s the most I’ve ever had in my life. Definitely check this place out, it’s so worth it!

I ordered the 29 - rice with chicken and eggroll. Dish was beautiful and tasty, especially the eggroll and rice. Owner was very nice. Very grateful for this wonderful pho restaurant in such a small town.
